Breaking News: TCF Youth Shine on Australia Day Honours Stage

Goulburn, NSW - 26 January 2026

The Terry Campese Foundation (TCF) is proud to share an inspiring Australia Day success story, with two of our remarkable young people recognised as finalists in the Goulburn Young Citizen of the Year Awards.

Chloe, a participant from the 2024 TCF Youth Mentor Program, and Simon, a graduate from last year's program, were both named finalists - an extraordinary achievement that reflects their commitment, resilience, and dedication to making a positive difference in their community.

In a moment of immense pride, Simon was crowned Goulburn's Young Citizen of the Year, a fitting recognition of his leadership, compassion, and service to others.

The Australia Day celebrations were a powerful reminder of the impact young people can have when given opportunity, encouragement, and belief. For the entire TCF community, seeing Chloe and Simon honoured on such a significant national occasion was deeply moving and affirming.

"This is what our Youth Mentor Program is all about - empowering young people to discover their strengths, build confidence, and step forward as leaders", said Terry Campese. "We could not be prouder of Chloe and Simon."

Congratulations to both finalists, and especially to Simon on this outstanding achievement. You are inspiring role models for young people across the region and beyond.
