Our story

Why TCF was started

Terry Campese spent years as an NRL player doing what he loved, but a career marked by significant injuries also meant lots of time on the sidelines. Rather than just wait until he could play again, Terry decided to do something meaningful with the time.

Having developed a deep love for the charity ambassador roles that came with his playing career, Terry founded the Terry Campese Foundation in 2012 - a way to give back to the Canberra and Queanbeyan community that had supported him throughout his career.

More than a decade on, TCF has grown into a foundation that continues to reach more people, more programs, and more lives - building brighter futures for youth and at-risk members of the community, one person at a time.
